Total Textures v11 is a collection of Alienesque organic textures. From the weird and slimey, to more subtle toned skins, these textures are made up from many layers and elements captured by 50% photography and 50% hand painted. Many textures have several combined layers resulting in the examples you can see here. Of course like all of our textures they are 100% seamless and have additional hand crafted extras such as matching bump maps, many have specular maps too.You can now view every single texture by downloading the cd's thumbnail interface by right clicking the link below (25.14mb)
The average texture size is 1024 pixels on each axis but some range a little higher. All of the textures are jpeg format (saved at the highest quality setting) and so are compatible with all 3d and 2d software.
As with all of our CDs there is a interface which runs in your browser (works on all PCs and Macs) to enable easy texture previewing and selection. Plus access to the extras bonus material in the form of tutorials and project overviews. Total Textures V18 – “Sky Textures” is a collection of high resolution panorama textures that can be applied to a sky dome and are set up ready to work within such a 3D environment. Due to their huge size (over 17,000 x 5,000) they can alternatively be used as a background pass in 3D render composites or even mapped onto a plane. Includes 343 image maps for 48 unique and interchangeable terrain, rock, and stone materials. Texture sizes range from 2000 x 1500 to 2500 x 2000 pixels.
Each texture channel was designed with interchangeability in mind. Even though texture groups are named according to their relation to the original source image, and in some cases this will yield the best result; image maps can easily be mixed and matched to create thousands of material variations.
With the included alpha maps, you can extract the primary features of any image (or use them randomly), to layer the textures on top of each other, allowing endless amounts of variation and control.
